ABOUT

Hi, I’m Ronald Valverde. At The Money Architect, you will find the strategies I tested over the last decade to reach my financial goals. I started from scratch in the USA and can relate to the struggles of everyday life. The insights gathered on each post will help others like me reach their financial goals sooner.

I came to the United States, from Costa Rica, as an architecture student with over 27,000 dollars of student loan debt. While in college, in Savannah, I met my future wife, Leslie – together we started a fun journey figuring out how to get out of debt and form a family (she also has massive student loans in the six digits). After finishing our studies in Georgia we relocated to New York for work and have lived here for the past decade. Raising two beautiful daughters has added to the financial challenges, without regrets.

The Money Architect is an idea I’ve had for a few years and decided to put into practice in 2020. Administrating money is one of my life passions.
